Algum Mask (PST058)

Alginate is a biopolymer extracted from brown marine algae (*Laminaria digitata*, *Laminaria hyperborea*, *Ascophyllum nodosum*, *Fucus serratus*) that grow along the rocky coastlines of northern seas. The properties of these algae have been known since the time of the Roman Empire.

It softens and refreshes the skin, hydrates it, and makes it more receptive to cleansing, care, and preventive treatments.

As a non-acidic product, it does not alter the skin's pH.

NOTE: The specified timeframes apply from the moment mixing with deionized water begins at 23°C (73°F). Cold water delays setting, while warm water accelerates it. Variations in water hardness may also affect setting times. It is recommended to perform a test with a small amount of the product to determine the working and setting times based on the temperature of the water you intend to use.

Alginate mask in synergy with essential oils – Combining the mask with essential oils enhances the treatment's effects. Essential oils can improve muscle tone and skin elasticity—whether the skin is dry, oily, or dehydrated—and are also used to address dermatological issues such as acne or couperose.

Instructions for use:

Use three parts water at 23°C (room temperature) for every one part powder; mix thoroughly for at least one minute until a homogeneous consistency is reached;

Working time: 5 minutes

Gelation time: 10 minutes;

Any variation in the amount of water—even a small one—or the water temperature will affect the working and gelation times.

Wait at least 15 minutes before removing the mask.
